🪴 The story behind the garden
I built The Garden of Mind after reading Joseph Murphy's The Power of Your Subconscious Mind. The book gave me an image I could not leave behind: the subconscious mind as a garden. What we repeatedly give attention, imagination and feeling can take root within us — and begin to find its way into the life we build.
The first seed
Murphy wrote about prayer, visualisation and the quiet states around sleep. His practical invitation was simple: choose one clear wish, picture it as already part of your life and return to it every day with feeling. Let the image become familiar in the deeper mind instead of writing it down once and losing it beneath everything else.
That became the watering ritual. One wish. Two quiet minutes. Every day.
The digital plant makes an invisible practice visible. You choose a seed, return to it with attention, imagination and feeling, and watch it grow across real calendar days. As the wish becomes less foreign within, it can begin to shape what you notice, believe, choose and do. The garden holds the inner direction; your life is where you carry it.
The second reason I built it
We now live in a world that can fill every unclaimed second with input. Feeds, headlines, advertising, videos and other people's lives compete to plant their thoughts in us all day. We are connected to almost everything, yet can lose the quiet required to hear what is actually ours.
The Garden of Mind is meant to be a boundary against that current. For a few minutes, nothing new enters. You sit with one thought you chose yourself. Then you close the screen and turn inner direction into life: action, creative work, walking, sport, cooking, conversation, presence or one honest next step.
Less input does not mean doing less with your life. It means making room to bring more of your own attention, care and creation into it.
Why a garden
A feed wants another minute. A garden asks for care and then lets you leave. That is why the product grows through real days rather than constant use. A healthy session can be short: open the garden, water one wish, picture one fulfilled moment and return to the world beyond the screen.
Miss a day and nothing is erased. The plant may wilt, but it can recover. The practice is not a test of perfection; it is a place to return.
What I believe — and what I cannot promise
I believe a wish returned to with attention, imagination and feeling can take root in the subconscious and find its way into the life you build. The garden cannot promise when or where it will bloom. It cannot guarantee money, health, love or control over another person, and it never blames someone for an outcome that does not arrive.
What it can offer is a place for one chosen thought, a daily practice for returning to it and a quiet moment in which your own direction becomes audible again. Visualisation begins the movement within. The next real step is lived outside the garden.
The Garden of Mind is a living 3D garden for your wishes: choose one, give it two minutes of attention, imagination and feeling, then carry that inner direction back into your life. Free, private, in your browser.
